Michael studied Clarinet, Saxophone, Flute and Piano in Manchester London and Paris. He has performed as a soloist, in various ensembles and with a number of orchestras.

As a clarinet teacher based in Oakham, Rutland, Michael has a reputation for his uncompromising standards and is comfortable working with all age groups, from the initial stages of development to students aspiring to attain professional qualifications.

He has worked for a number of major Examination Boards, conducting assessments, workshops and masterclasses in various countries. He specialises in performance technique, and the psychology of performance.

Michael welcomes beginners and advanced players alike. He can assist with exam preparation and has a 100% success rate working with all examination boards from initial grades to professional diplomas.

His successful private practice is based in Oakham and the surrounding areas of Rutland, Stamford and Melton Mowbray.
